Ever heard of them? And their Body rituals? Hog hairs they shove in their mouths, the men lacerate their faces with sharp razor like metal, and the women bake their heads in mini ovens. They're obsessed with changing their bodies, in the belief that the body is ugly.
We read about them in Sociology, anyone else know what I'm talking about?
Crazy People.
Looking at ourselves from an outside perspective, as if we were another culture, with certain aspects exaggerated to make us seem more strange than we are, is extremely interesting. Try to imagine ourselves the way we see other cultures. It's a great perspective.
